How to Install the TITAN XL Shoring System

Safely and efficiently shore concrete decks up to 24'7" with XL 625 and XL 350 Shores. Fully compatible with all TITAN systems, XL shores allow two men to swiftly erect tall deck shoring from the ground.

How to Use the TITAN XL Quick Release Drophead

The TITAN XL Shore is the quickest and easiest way to support concrete loads up to 24'. Our patented XL Quick Release drops a full 1/2” (12mm) with a single hammer blow, while also supporting loads up to 25,000 lbs.

How to Set the TITAN XL Quick Release:

1. Two workers remove an XL shore from the storage barella, and place it in the barella u-heads.

2. Using the built-in measuring tape, unlatch and pull the inner tube to the desired length.

3. Spin the nut to the correct length, engage the latch and engage the Quick Release mechanism.

4. The final shore height can be adjusted with or without a framing load. Simply place a hammer claw into the hammer lug and rotating to the final height.

How to Remove the TITAN XL Shore with the Quick Release:

1. Following the Stripping Release, the TITAN XL shores can be removed by striking the latch on the Quick Release.

2. The Quick Release will drop 1/2” (12mm) and releasing the shore load.

3. Use a claw hammer on the hammer lug to lower the shore nut as needed to remove the XL Shore.
